Dodgeball is a fast-paced team sport that blends athleticism, strategy and sheer fun. Played on a court divided by a centre line, two teams compete to eliminate opponents by hitting them with a ball — while dodging everything thrown their way.
6 players per side. Hit an opponent with the ball to eliminate them. Catch a thrown ball and they’re out – and a teammate returns. First team to eliminate all opponents wins. Games are fast, intense, and endlessly exciting.
Dodgeball is organised at club, national, continental and world levels. Clubs compete in local leagues and competitions. Around the world, many regional club competitions are held, which international teams are often invited to.
Dodgeball improves reaction time, agility, hand-eye coordination, and teamwork. It’s a full-body workout disguised as pure fun – and one of the fastest growing team sports on the continent.
Dodgeball is played in 108+ countries worldwide, with a global governing body, continental federations, and a rapidly growing competitive scene that includes world championships.
